Who Can Use It
Where to Place Your Dhan Potli
How to Place It
- 1On an auspicious day (Friday, Akshaya Tritiya, Dhanteras, Diwali, or any day begun with a pure heart), clean the place where you wish to keep it.
- 2Take a bath or wash your hands before the placement.
- 3Light a diya or incense stick if possible.
- 4Hold the Dhan Potli with both hands and close your eyes.
- 5Pray to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Mahalakshmi with sincere devotion.
- 6Chant the mantra below 11 or 21 times.
- 7Respectfully place the Dhan Potli in your chosen location.
Care Instructions
- Keep it in a clean and respectful place.
- Do not place it directly on the floor.
- Avoid contact with water or moisture.
- Do not untie or open the potli unless instructed.
- Handle it with devotion and care.
