HOW TO PLACE THE DHAN POTLI
1. On an auspicious day such as Friday, Akshaya Tritiya, Dhanteras, Diwali, or any day you begin with a pure heart, clean the place where you wish to keep the Dhan Potli.
2. Take a bath or wash your hands before performing the placement.
3. Light a diya or incense stick if possible.
4. Hold the Dhan Potli with both hands and close your eyes.
5. Pray to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Mahalakshmi with sincere devotion.
6. Chant the mantra given below 11 or 21 times.
7. After completing the prayer, respectfully place the Dhan Potli in your chosen location.
